Why social CEOs?
In 2013 we were inspired by LinkedIn’s top 30 social CEOs list to create a voluntary sector equivalent when we noticed that no charity leaders were featured in the original list. It seemed surprising because as digital marketing experts we meet so many charity leaders keen to develop a strong social media presence.
We realised that there was a huge and exciting opportunity to celebrate those charity leaders already ‘doing’ social media brilliantly, and helping those less comfortable with it to make the leap.
So every year since, we celebrate the best charity CEOs on social media with a top 30 list, guide and special launch event.
Done right, social media is an empowering tool which can help charity leaders achieve more for their organisations and themselves.
